Does anyone else get a lot of their past villagers while island hopping? Why out of all 413 total villagers does this happen to me so often? ��

I remember feeling bad about letting Nan move out a while back but found her while hopping within that same month. So far she's been my only repeat villager but I try to avoid doing this bc I wanna experience all my faves (my only exception is for Maple; I'd take her back in a heartbeat if I ever saw her again).

The amount of times Monique, Patty, and Monty (just to name a small few) have shown up is kinda crazy to me at this point lol. Like, well over 5+ times each.
